Darnell works in Kelvington, where he lives with his wife Kaylee and 3 children.   With family ties in both the Wadena and Invermay areas, he grew up in Yorkton.  When he is not at the office he can be found wherever his kids lead him including swimming, kayaking, skating, or playing tag and hide and go seek.
